I still have this frame for sale - Kona Explosif 2004 True Temper OX Platinum steel with cromoly rear stays. Condition is very good, no dents but some chips to the paint work around the inside of the chainstay and a few cable rub marks which you can see in the photos.

The sliding dropouts are new/unsused - these ones have the chain tug screw on them so it is easy to adjust the chain tension in single speed (or Alfine) guise. Disc & V compatible, although there are currently no V bosses - just blanking bolts.

-18" frame (c-t)
-1 & 1/8th headtube
-28.6mm front mech size/30.0 seat clamp size
-27.2mm seatpost size (I can supply a Kona in-line seatpost)
-68mm BB
-top tube cable routing

Too good to be sat in the garage doing nothing!

2004 geometry & 2005 geometry from KonaTech:

As per Konatech the frame is built for 456mm fork geometry (ie 80mm fork), however the 2005 Explosif frame was exactly the same geometry but supplied with a 100mm fork - resulting in the head and seat angles slackening by 1 degree (similar to a Cotic when changing from 100 - 120mm travel) so for use with either 80/100mm forks!
