Hi,Looking to rebuild or sell on me old orange p7
Just want to check is this the 96 or 97 model?
Im sure its a 96 lx as it was known :?
As you can see its been garaged for some time

I think the lack of a canti bridge says it's a 97 (but that isn't inconsistent with it having a 96 number of course).

March 1996 Manufacture date, but probably 1997 when assembled and sold as a complete bike, my silver C16R is dated similarly

Great looking frame - I'd love a nickel P7 as my 2012 project...

But if it was a March made frame (my Prestige was March '92 and is certainly a 1992 model as the Stif ads confirm) then it should have been in the shops by the summer of '96.

Hey your quite possibly correct,

guess it depends how long the parts took to get shipped from Taiwan to Orange in UK for assembly,

Your bike may have arrived on the scene in 96
