GT/Shimano/Weinmann Zac wheels

These wheels were on my wife's GT which we have had from new in the later 90's. The bike was ridden once or twice a year (if at all) for a handful of miles each time (10-15 each time) until this year when I bought her some new ones so I could pinch them for my Tequesta, which I rode once for 20 miles. So probably about 150 miles they've done at the very most.

Because of so few miles will have virtually no rim wear. Hubs smooth and tight. Lovely polished chunky front hub with very subtle GT etched into it - someone thought it was a Machine Tech hub on the Peaks ride!! Rear Shimano Parallax hub, I think its an STX RC one but I'll have to check. 8/9sp but will supply 7sp spacer to fit a retro cassette on. All decals in fab condition,

Straddles the 1997 retro cut off quite nicely, you can stay original and fit 7sp or go for a sneaky 8sp/thumbie set up...

Chunky enough to handle a more "portly" rider but don't look like downhill wheels.... ;-)

All silver.

Worth £55 posted easy - BUT open to offers. I am desperate to sell.

Post on here first then a PM please.

Pictures below as fitted to bike(s). I can get better close-ups tonight if you need them. I can guarantee you won't be disappointed with them.

Are the wheels still for sale? I am trying my firsdt retro rebuild. Would these fit a 6 speed? Charlie

I don't know the exact weight. Medium weight probably.

I can weigh them exactly but it might not be until end of the weekend.
