Vintage, 1991 GT Xizang Titanium Frame -- Size Large

bike collector

Retro Newbie
This frame looks like it has had very little use. It is in beautiful, shiny condition. I bought it to build up into a bike for myself, but, alas, it turned out to be too large, once I put some wheels on it . . .

The serial number is 212!

I was getting ready to put it on eBay, but thought perhaps one of you "Retro Bike" people would have a smaller Xizang frame you would be willing to trade for this 20" frame. I also thought I would give one of you the first opportunity to buy it outright if a trade isn't possible. I'm asking $850, plus PayPal fees and actual shipping costs to your location.

This frame takes a U-brake.
  • Top Tube -- 22.5"
    Down Tube -- 25"
    Head Tube -- 6.25"
Seat Stay to Seat Tube -- 18.25"
    Chain Stay -- 16.75"
    Bottom Bracket -- 73mm
As stated, I am open to trading this frame for another GT Xizang frame in similar condition, in a smaller size. One of these Xizang frames, in a smaller size, sold on eBay recently for almost $1200, including the shipping.

I have more pictures of other parts of the bike if you are interested.

Did you just purchased this one last week?

If yes (it has the same framenumber as the one....), then its a quick way to get some money.
