With efforts like this, it is easy to see why Schwinn didn't do too well with their early "mountain bikes". Nothing too high end but it sure is clean.

I love those early sidewinders, you never see them this side of the pond.
I giant BMX with some gears similar to a Raleigh Bomber of the same period.
Some one will always like a bike others would consign to landfill !
