Not sure on width will have a measure , you can use any brake levers on them , just slide them around a bit like a road drop bar ;)
 
Just to update..

I have tried fitting a set of thumbshifters and STi units onto these bars with no problems..

Will try a set of gripshifts later but not expecting any issues.. :)
 
I have these on one of my bikes, they are great!
They will take any levers or shifters, my current set up has XC Pro thumbies and HS33 levers.

Just Checked and gripshifts do fit but is a bit of a sqeeze... :)

:) Yea they have a great shape, and are a nice way of having an integrated bar end setup :) 8)
