Had this sat around for ages, it was pretty much a bare frame and all original paint was removed due to huge chunks of paint missing ....

many ideas and were thought up and I ended using it as a winter bike, bare in mind I had the rasta trimble too at that point so putting suspension forks on to raise the front end was a comfort move........... just don't know why I thought that green was a good idea.

after that season I stripped it back and parted it out..... back of the shed it went.

few years on and I parted with my eye catching masterpiece the rasta trimble and after a discussion with the new owner of that I decided to drag out the other frame and make an effort at something different.....well, I tried something different and I didn't like it so ...... full circle and back.... to stock 8) to be different I went for a rigid fork and not a P2.... one with a U-brake and rather than XT I went for the shimano workhorse deore DX my favourite groupset - plus I had a lot of it from bikes long gone, and of course the roo bar so right for these frames, Just for a bit of difference I put decal colour coded cables on and I really like it.

Re:

Lee - that is a cracking build, and a lot smarter looking than your old rasta tiger one in my book!

Are you going to bring it on Sunday?

Love the concept of "Workhorse DX".....

So true tho, so overlooked compared to XT and similar build quality, just does as its told.

Great result nice one!, getting closer to starting mine.

Get it done, such comfortable bikes and a real head turner.

What frame number is yours?, should be stamped on the alu under the stays,

My rasta was instamped, but it was early and this is no44, Jez's tiger is no122.
