Well, it took long enough, but here she is.
1989 climbMax I grabbed recently with a fresh paintjob by Paul himself.
Built up relatively modern with X-ray shifters, XTR rear der, LP cranks, Crossride wheels with 2.35" tires.
Control Tech stem and post.
Had to keep the brakes period correct, but boy, this U brake has me frazzled....might have to enlist the services of one of the local guru's
Fork came off an '89 Stratos then I repainted it......let me tell you how hard it is to find a 1" steerer fork that is 7.5" long!!??! Forget about a Gator....I have
Anyway, the deep purple colour doesn't really come through here, but boy is it pretty.
And thanks jimbo for convincing me to go with the gold decals.....me likey!!
And boy o boy.....posted pics here has to be the most antiquated experience.....sigh .....feel better now
