Hey there.

Got a lot of infos about retro-mtb´s off this site and enjoy the the load of nice built´s shown here.
As I´ve become more and more active on this site and as I don´t think most you are regulars on
the retro-section on mtb-news.de I finally decided to share some pic´s of my current two project´s.

A `89 Ultimate from Malibu and a `91 Ultimate from Durango:

Already had some fight´s with the black one, as it´s seatpost, stem and a ferrule were stuck:

Condition of both have have crossed the border of fine/loveley patina:

I decided to have them stripped and get´em fresh powdercoats:

But only one has it´s coat yet.

Before the new powdercoat they´ve been blasted. That´s when the black one came up with this:

After I stepped back and thought about the project for a second I decided to
get it repaired. The new pipe is currently being installed; pic´s to follow.
