Picked up this Beauty from Brighton from JayPee, and waited for the right Weekend to attack it..
There were a coupla decades of grime and grit in the Drivetrain, so after a total stripdown..
Phase One: Soak in Duck Smart
Phase Two: Scrub
Phase Three: Dishwasher Cycle
Phase Four: Hand polishing
..and..
It's amazing how clean I like things to be.. Scared myself a little bit on this one :shock:
Have had a short caged XT Unit waiting for the right Build.. Time to unbox it I thought..
New Cables throughout of course; these hangers are.. challenging..
..and some New Shoes..
HS. BB & Chainset still to go.. But good progress so far..
