1974 mk4 Carlton professional

After starting the mk4 Raleigh project this mk4 Carlton came up for sale in original paint with touch ups. So I've built it with the full nouvo record group I've collected over the last 6 years.

I've some high flange hubs to build into a wheelset but apart from that it's done and I'm really happy with it.

That is stunning. I remember as a schoolboy longingly staring at the Carlton catalogue late in the 1960s which showed their racing team riding their bikes in this livery - were they the Professional or Ten models? One of their team as I recall was Reg Smith.

If I had a Carlton it would have to be one just like yours - well done.
