So this is my next project on the work stand The year of manufacture dates from 1956. I rescued the bike from Rebike in Carlisle around May last year and have tried to sell the frame but had no luck there, maybe the price was to high or the paint work to far gone I don't know. Anyhow rather than letting it go for nothing I've kept it and decided to bring some life back to it. I took it to Bob Jacksons in Leeds 5 weeks ago and had the frame redone exactly as it was when new. As you can see from the photo the paint was terminal. I have all the original parts for the bike or what I believe to be original and have only had to get a saddle and need to find some mudguards (LGF PLEASE).

Re:

This is going to be a whole heap of class, looking forward to a looksee in April...

What saddle do you need for it?

Thanks Guys as it happens per chance I've just come in to possession of a Brooks Professional spent sometime last night polishing up the brakes and cranks they were fairly pitted and the anodising was very warn in places hence the need for a polish (and no before pics either  ) just need to finish off the drive side crank. Have dry fitted the headset today and will probably get round to sorting the BB out later more pic's to come. :D

Well I'd best show you all how it turned out before I sell it :(

That certainly turned out very nice. It looks great, shame you have to sell it.
Job well done though and you must have drastically increased it's price ;)
