Haral Chambery - Updated - Mavic ZAP gears

Hi,

I've made an upgrade to the gears on my Haral Chambery timetrial bike, its now using Mavic's ZAP system which includes the electronic 8 speed RD with the Mavic 571 rear cassette and hubs. Surprisingly it works really well, smooth and easy to use. Enclosed are a few photos.

well state of the art french Mavic gearchanging stuff but with a battery ( you know a bit like like the very sophisticated EGS MTB derailleur and gear changers but this one was all mechanical ! ) :idea:

Hi,

The tubing is the Mexico 1 Variant with the pearled pattern on the tubes.

Here is some more info on the Excell company/tubing they marketed/sold.

Hi,

I copied them off the web. I think I saw pictures of your chrome AM, very nice frame. Funnily I had the same Alain Michel frame as yours but mine had the "plonging" tubes as my Haral, same tubeset - Mexico 1 series. The AM I had was an awful colour bright yellow/red/black I think I may have put pictures up before. I did respray the fame and sell it on last year. The stickers or decals I had made by someone in France by the name of Dizzibird, they have an Ebay/website.
