Just been taken off from a bike that has been ridden 50 miles or so, essentially there is no wear at all on the parts: look at the cassette sprockets, the chain, the brake pads, the chainring... the FD shows no marks inside the cage, the RD is immaculate, the STI's work perfectly (not "gummed up") and have no scratches on the levers or the chrome top.
1- Shimano 600 headset, 1" threaded, semi-cartridge bearings, 26.4 excellent crown-race. Overall in mint conditions (no markings on the locknuts)
2- Shimano 6401 RD, SS short cage, immaculate mint conditions
3- Shimano 6401 FD, braze-on for double chainset, immaculate mint conditions
4- Shimano ST-6400 STI levers, Lh is for double chainset, Rh is 8 speed. Work perfectly. Aside from little blemish on the front logo, immaculate conditions
5- Shimano 6403 DP SLR brake calipers, in mint conditions, pads are virtually new and all the hardware is perfect. Super smooth pivots.
6- Shimano FC-6400 chainset, 52/42 8 speed, 170mm crank arms. Chainrings are excellent, the cranks have no marks but sadly some small blemishes from the person who removed the pedals. Otherwise excellent conditions, especially the logo
7- Shimano 600 BB, 115mm for FC6400 double chainset, Italian theaded 36x24. Very smooth bearings, still with the original grease that looks like new. Lockrings are not marked, overall excellent/mint conditions
8- Shimano HG 8 speed chain, 108 links, mint conditions, super clean
9- Shimano HG 8 speed cassette, 12-21 Hyperglide, mint conditions, super clean.
Asking £400 for the lot, this is less than £50/piece!
May consider a wise offer, or add some goodies.
On request, the hubs are available: front and rear 6400 in excellent conditions (used for 50 miles) with immaculate skewers, laced on Mavic Open Sup silver.
