also had trouble installing the flite saddle onto the Moots seatpost i plan on using for the build. as elegant and simple a design it is, it was a royal PITA getting the rails to fit into the clamp while keeping it within the one piece clasp it fits into. not looking to ever add another Moots seatpost in the future. :roll:
plans i have at the moment, parts on hand:
Avid Arch Supreme brakes w/ Ultimate SD levers.
Paul FHUB and WORD hubs laced to Mavic XC717 rims (as pictured).
Paul Melvin single speed rear chain tensioner.
Moots seatpost and Flite Gel Flow saddle (as pictured).
would like to use the set of RS Judy FSX forks, but would need to up them to 75/80mm travel from current 60mm. i've read it can be done, any tips/pointers would be welcome. or suggestions/recommendations on the alternative forks.
parts to source:
matching Moots stem and bar, or perhaps Ibis stem and bar. I have a Race Face ti stem, and both Bontrager ti Crow Bar, as well as what I believe are White Brothers Ti Bar riser already on hand at my disposal, but unsure if i want to use any.
Thomson seat collar clamp.

hahaha, no. took some time to strip the frame down and clean it up so it was more presentable. the downtube decal was a mess so removing it was a chore in itself. already secured a replacement decal.slope":2ugpiubv said:
