Specialized Hardrock 1999 With pics...

So last week my neighbour told me he was clearing his garage out, and would I like the bikes that were in there......this was one. A 1999 Specialised Hard rock. 100% original. He had just stopped using it and put it away.

Not top end, just entry level, but all there, just oiled the cables, pumped up the tyres, and wiped it down The only damage is to one rim where he ran the brakes down so low that the backing has marked the rim :facepalm:

Stamping on the stem is 99 over 06 indicating June '99, so maybe slightly later...colour scheme seems to be right for that age.

That really does look great and i bet it goes well to and the specialized handle bar stem looks nice and sturdy and they give a nice long reach to as i've got one on my commuter which i got off ebay last year for 99p and just love it ..
