Time has come to part with my old friend, I bought this bike from Julies in Leicester in late 1996 and its only really had occasional use and lots of upgrades ending with a 9 speed XT hybrid gearing setup that I've decided to sell separately. Selling as I'm building a Trek 9.6 carbon fibre hardtail and I'm way past N+1
The frame is 18" of bonded aluminium construction and is in excellent condition with only minor marks and scratches from 18 years of use with new Orbit XL headset and seatclamp, the fork is a Manitou Mach 5SX with alloy steerer and upgraded springs in place of elastomers that compliments and matches the frame very well ( Bontrager top cap and 15mm of X-lite spacers included), the wheels have had even less use as they were originally bought for my wife's bike Mach 1 BOS rims on STX-RC hubs with Specialized Hardrock amber wall tyres. I also have the original box for the Manitou forks with another Mach 5SX fork for spare parts along with as new elastomers and the fork boots. I also have the service manual for the forks and owners manual for the bike. Looking for £160 complete , no idea about posting something this size, will consider splitting and selling separately.
