Hi, I can't recall Sun using that style of Lug ( although they did do some faux nervex in the fifties ), are there any serial numbers on the Bottom Bracket, or dropouts that you can find, it may help. Terry

Difficult to see if this is a Sun Wasp from the mid 50s. Detail pics of head lugs, seat lug fork ends bottom bracket, etc. could help.

Hi again, see more pics, its got cyclo and j621 on the stay.

Difficult to see your pics, you resized them far too small.
It could have had a tall headbadge, and could be a Sun Wasp frame from the mid 1950s, the other parts are later. At the time a large number of frame builders used the same or similar components. If the forks are original they should have a cast crown, which has sharp edges.

Hi, the lugs look like Oscar Egg Super Champion, as indicated I don't believe Sun actual used this lug set, the serial number certainly isn't a Sun serial number. It looks more like a Carlton or Ernie Cements serial number, might be worth searching the web for these, but from what I can see I would guess early fifties rather than late fifties. Terry
