Xc rocket Cannondale Scalpel 1 carbon 2015

So happy with the hard tail been out training work permitting to get back up to cycle fit. Been a gym buddie for a while so cardio fitness suffered.

Was browsing round a few bike shops owned many bikes before, but not owned this type always was on the lookout for a decent condition one, however always missed the opertunity when presented with one.

Was after a 26er tbh but then seen this beast and thought Ohhh that's nice.
So ordered and awaited for the post to arrive.

Few pics couldn't wait to un wrap it !

After the test ride it's the best machine I've had so far. Then again it should for the price.

Bang on 22lbs, that's with inner tubes and over kill ice tech rotors I rekon sub 20lbs very achievable, with a few tweeks

Phenominally light for what is no doubt a very capable machine. Lovely looking bike, enjoy it.

Hold me mouth shut! :shock: " WoW " , that's the 1st ever dale that i've been impressed with and it's none retro too :facepalm: and are they flat bars on their as i thought free ride or riser's were still the in thing :? but yes! that looks totally WKD ...

Regarding the bars there flats not to keen on risers.
