Weird one this, but bear with me.
My first reasonable MTB was an Al Carter Professional with 400LX. It was boat anchor heavy.
At the time top of the range was the Black Panther, these were so heavily discounted people bought them just for the groupsets. However it being the model above mine I always fancied one.
So not highly revered bikes, but I have sentimental reasons for wanting one!
So if you have stripped a black panther and still have the frame in the shed, or even have a Professional knocking round let me know.
