1993 GT Karakoram 18": Have had it for about 4 years. Its a great climber, can run well, and pretty nimble. Love it for commuting, trails, and general hack-stuff around the neighborhood. The steel frame and steel fork have a very nice feel. Forgiving, fast enough, and very durable. It has been ridden pretty hard, yet doesn't show any sign of weakness. Definitely has some years left in it.

this is my reynolds 531 framed work bike superfast and smooth but not much to look at

fettled and faffed my commuter. now Dingle/Twingle (not sure which!)

Love it! How did the front mech cabling originally go?

My work bike - everyday at the moment, ride others more in the summer.

PS - has been updated with an even bigger basket and a front drum brake since this was taken.

The cabling at the front originally was a bit weird. Never ran with gears as the bike came to me frame only and went straight to singlespeed. the outer cable actually stopped at the mech and the cable was stopped by a bolt just above the BB

the dingle speed is great. Need to change the cog at the back as it's just a little too much. running 48/32 up front and 14 at the back, but i'll move that up to 16 sooner or later

using this old beast at the Mo till I finish my winter hack
