You want to get a Regina America 92 Superleggera - Aluminium cogs, light as anything, but wear out really quick. Come up on ebay from time to time or you can get one from www.sjscycles.co.uk. They are listed as non index but you can just about get away with it.
Or just look out for any of the Regina lightweight range. The Regina syncros were the index specific ones but I'm not sure if they did a Regina syncros superleggera, maybe some one else knows?

SJS Cycles could not deliver the aluminium model. Out of stock...... for good! ;(

I know that this is probably the wrong size for a decent MTB but this is a superleggera:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280135392939

show that they do crop up on the 'bay from time to time

Or try these people:

http://euroasiaimports.com/ProductCart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=1096

or these guys:

http://www.campyoldy.co.uk/stocklist.htm not listed but they often have stock, they even have a 7 speed Titanium and Aluminium freewheel listed (although it is £100!)

Weightwise they are about 300gms

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.
or try J D Whiskers in Goffs Oak, Hertfordshire. They often find the obscure parts amongst their old stock....
