What year is this 80s(?) Giant Speeder?

From the old style logo, it's pre 1990; the components are all over the place, so they don't help; and there is not a single picture of this particular paintjob on the internet (that I can find). So, any experts know the year? Thanks!

Well spotted. I was sure the paint was original- now I know it is. I suspect 1988-9, but can’t be sure.
