What frame material? - Raleigh R:300

On another note, I can't help but see similarity between the r:300 and this (millennium 531):

Bottom bracket welds look very similar to me...

If early 90s reynolds optima tubing comes to mind this was basically 501 tweaked for tig welding which then evolved into 525 tubing

Is another one.

But it's quite clear when one zooms in on the welds that they are massive compared to mine. i.e. aluminium not steel.

Notice also this red one has a lugged fork - just like mine, so steel.

Not exactly sure Raleigh were up to, but clearly trying different materials for a given shape...

Notice my top tube is more slender too & rear gear hanger is included on frame
