Waterproof cycling shorts

I've got a set of the Altura baggies, and they are very baggy, but when it's really wet they are very good.
Keep your thighs and aarse dry without the clammy overkill of full length waterproof trousers.
The only down-side is the lack of proper pockets which is the whole point of wearing baggies for me.
The fabric is also a bit noisy when you can hear it over the stair-rod-rain.

i remember trying a pair of the alturas for size and bike shop. i bent down to see how they moved around....the trapped air got squeezed out and it sounds like i'd done a massive fart in the changing room  :D :D

Waterproof shorts !

Is that just code for incontinence pants ?

Old bikes brakes are pretty poor afterall, you could get a bad case of the fear

Riding a fixie braking is the least of my worries.

Nope Its simply a case that I tend to cycle in the underwear I plan to wear for the day. I prefer to cycle in shorts no matter what the weather so any means of keeping me from having to change is a help.
