Wanted Steel hardtail frame around 16"

Hi all,

I have just had a Scott Reflex frame powder coated and transferred my 15 year old sons bits off a 13" Zaskar which he had very much outgrown. I asked him the other day why he wasn't riding it and his answer was " it doesn't feel alive like the old bike it feels a bit dead ". Whilst I'm delighted that he has discerning tastes, my wallet is less impressed !

So, I'm looking for something that feels a bit zingy, steel and hardtail in around the 16" ball park.

Have up to about £125/£150 to spend, although cheaper would be nice, but must have disc mounts.

I'm in the South East and could collect within reason.

I have a 16' Dialled Bikes Prince Albert for sale. It the original frame with the extra tubing. Really tough hard as nails frame.

Does it need disc or V brake fittings? What size headtube?
