Are you sure they're not Switchblade copies...apart from them having 'Switch Drive' on them, the blades don't taper as much so looks a lot thicker at the dropout than the slinky, skinny Tange version.

Says Switchblades in the advert above... I would imagine if they were copies Tange would have had something to say about them using the same name...

The '92 Conquest Elite I had a few years back had 'Max Switch' forks, which look like this:



Not sure if they were the same being a year later.
But the crack in the head tube certainly was!

They're "Black chromed switchblade with aluminium crowned fork", as per the post I put up.

"Max" and "Drive" are all inhouse branding for forks etc


There were copies out there, not sure if this early though.
