For those interested in this frame and the project, the frame weight measurement turned out to be 15% out, coming in at 1579g (rather than 1375g +/-). Still a nice frame no doubt, but it's sapped my enthusiasm for the project somewhat.

I found it was originally marketed as a 1200gm frame which it is not. As I have said to Glyn I expected to be a bit out either way ballancing it on the scales I was using to weigh it. I am more than a bit surprised at the claimed difference.Makes me wonder why the baking is always o.k. However as he intends to build it up and ride it I think he may be pleasantly surprised in the end. Will have to wait and see but apologies have been duly presented.
