I must say I'm a bit surprised the whole old bike with drop bars that looks vaguely 'racy' = pot of gold thing is still a thing with some sellers. I suppose it's going to take a while for the penny to drop with some people. I mean, there's being overly optimistic, and then there's apparently living in some sort of alternate universe where Google and eBay sold listings searches don't exist...

I think it's a PH501 from about 1985/6/7. I think it was called a 'Ventoux' . I had a 'Triathlon' which was similar but was white with 501 forks as well as mainframe. I. bought mine in 1987.

I remember every Peugeot Premier was seemingly 15 sizes to big for the poor kid riding. Every one I had to work on also had stuck stems and seatpost
