V brake style canti pad holders

I've got s set of black lx cantis, circa 93. Same style as the xt m737s. Rather than hunting down old rubber for the pad inserts, I'm thinking a v style holder opens up doors to better pads. Has anyone found a v holder with a straight/non threaded mount that works with canti brakes?

I have used them.

Seem to remember silver ones were available from Clarks, and black from Tektro for their CX brakes. Worked fine with LX cantis.

Oh yeah, it may concern your build. I could not get them set-up properly and dialled in with Mavic PSP rims.

Jagwire CX holders as another option and they are short for road pads. I use these on XTR cantis with Swissstop BXP blue pads and braking is excellent. Rims are x618 with the braking surface down to aluminium.

Yes used many of them on all my bikes, fibrax (ash850 *) , clarks (CP522) etc all the same.
