The lack of horizontal top tube just isn't for me

Also modern bikes just don't seem to have inspiring colour schemes any more. You can have any colour so long as you want white, or black, or black and white.

There is very little about this bike that does it for me. The cables are ok though!

That GT deliberately flexes hence the odd look. The road bike was arse up in the air for the aerodynamic advantage. Many new bikes are set almost bolt upright.
