My first proper mountain bike replacing a Raleigh Montage.
These are good bikes

Is there a reason Trek's are seemingly more expensive than say Giant ,Marin or Specialized? They appear to be similar mainstream mass produced steel rides.

This used to belong to me, it’s a really nice example and I regretted selling it to be honest. It was a size too small, but all of the parts are in good shape and it’s totally original apart from the tyres (which I fitted).
