trash or treasure ??

yeah, i snagged it. i cant pick it up til may, but will update what i find when i get there.

will let you know about the frame, as on the face of it its the bit i'm not interested in (and it looks massive)

i have a hunch it might be a Emelle, i recall a school mate having a top of the range one with XT kit, was pink and white.

the naff spoke protector on the back wheel too

I am convinced it is an MBK we had some in the early 90's massive frames but came with a full DX group on for silly money ;) :D

Collected today,

Some clues, seems to be a blue to red fade under the rattle can paint.

Xt throughout, inc hubs and pedals.

Rigid Ctx 510 rims, wobbler tyres, spokes are stainless but have a tatty plastic coating on them

U brake :D

Mudguard eyes - one set

Chain hanger on seat stay

Seat post branded "strong" :D

Non lugged

So my first thought is peugeot as per kof

Or MBk but don't know these so well

Final clue, rear mech hanger stamped simplex.....

So must be French, non?

Well pleases with it

Levers, thumbies are in good nick

Rear mech, pedals and chain set are useable, and hopefully the silver rattle can overspray will shift

Front mech, in a sorry sate.

Wheels good, I think.

So all told 31quid well spent
