This week I bought a pair of Continental Explorer tyres (2d hand, little to no use, still got the little hair on) for 40€, they came with a free Deore LX specced bike made in Italy by a company called Tarrot. Never heard of them and a Google search says they now produce electric motor bikes. Anyone know anything about this bike/company?
The whole bike, like the age inappropriate tyres, is like new! Not going to lie, I bought it for the parts, however I now feel a little bit bad about tearing it apart. No idea what tubing it is, it's fairly heavy, but then compared to the rest of my bikes (trek 8000 Ali, funk, pace rc300, orange Ali elite.... A lot of Ali there) 1 1/4" headset, top and down tubes are ovalised at the head tube, which being inch and a 1/4 is huge and strikes me as an odd design feature.
Literally just needed air in the tyres and it was a rider!
Anyone shed some light? Do I harvest it for the immaculate deore LX? IMG_20221015_115917.jpg IMG_20221015_115647.jpg IMG_20221015_115702.jpg IMG_20221015_115630.jpg IMG_20221015_115618.jpg IMG_20221015_115554.jpg

`Torrot are spanish, not italian. I see quite a few around here, mainly road bikes. None that I have seen are particularly high end, but they are generally nicely built.
Don't know where I got Italy from?! My initial thoughts were a Spanish brand I hadn't heard of..... Can't say I've seen any down my way, but then again haven't looked. Could be a regional thing, the current factory is in Gerona and I did pick it up in Catalunya
