its not a bad idea . id rather have a piece machined to fill the cups than use an epoxy . what i dont like is there is nothing to stop the axle shifting laterally
velo do you know what an external bb cup looks like ? its a bit like a headset cup . by putting the normal cartridge sized bearing outside the confines of the bb shell you can mount it eccentrically in the larger external cup
