Nice gold detailing.

These tubes are a bit like Giant-one's mystery year Ridgeback. Was there ever an instance where a factory would simply turn out the same frames but making very minor changes for different clients?
 
think these were bought as tubesets and brazed in small bike shops/builders
in the days before you bought a frame from taiwan/china/korea with
your shop logo's on it delivered
real bike shops with real bike frame builders ,before life was dumbed down

sorry for the rant .... :?
