Agreed.

Prices (esp Campagnolo) have risen greatly in the last 5 years, I bought Record (Nuovo and Super) at jumbles, just because of the lower prices (e.g very good NR rear mechs for £20-£25, chainsets not much more.

Always thought they'd rise, and if something broke I'd have another.

On the subject of Bluemels; I was very lucky a few years ago; bought quite a few sets, NoS - assorted models and colours - for, well, not very much.

There are components that are really excellent and priced low (due to brand snobbery), these are the ones to buy now - they're bound to rise (I've just bought 4 NoS sets of this manufacturers brakes for £10).
