It's all about the money and never about the pride and that's why I feel most of the players are playing through obligation and a c.v. entry than a genuine desire for team G.B. to win. That's why I never understood why Beckham was left out.
He may not be the best player but I have yet to see a time when he hasn't put on a national shirt and not played with pride for his country, something most of the England and GB team players could and should learn from. You cannot under estimate the morale boost within any team with such a player in it.
