I thought all the forged alloy ones were silver, have they been painted? :?

The roadies are almost new and I haven't figured out their home yet. Maybe a resto mod Rocky Mountain roadie. Or poosiby take the spider off and use them as a single speed set-up.

As for the aluminum cranks, yes they're painted and they're on my 9/10 finished Rocky Mountain Experience. I would have liked to pick up some Revolution Steel MTB cranks but the aluminum ones are a lot more affordable.

got to bring this thread back to live because i just got a 1999 syncros cataloge. it says that there were hand polished or black anodized alloy cranks available! early versions of the alloy crank were just available polished and had the logotype close to the bb (just on one side?). what suprised me too was that they still had the steel revo cranks in that cataloge. thought they were just produced until mid 90s?!?
