summer Ride - Aviemore - 17/18TH July 2015 AFTERMATH

Slightly off topic here but I think its connected to the day, or the drive home anyway.
I had dinner with Brian before heading up the road and as I was coming toward and crossing Dornach bridge I could see this break in the clouds, it was really strange looking. It was around 9pm or so.
I thought it was aliens looking for intelligent life but then I realised it was over Bonar Bridge so theres a good chance they left empty handed ;)

Twas a braw day again lads, glad I spied that alternate route home to spare my undercarriage any further damage though  . Great pics and captions posted too, made me chuckle a few times. Here's the few I took.

Re:

Thanks everybody that did me good. Strangely I feel better and less knackered now than I did before the ride so I obviously needed it. Hooning around Loch Einach after dinner and a pint on the Saturday night was my highlight. Keith proving that although fat bikes will ride over most stuff he is more than capable of finding the stuff that can stop one. In homage to Mikee, who I wish would get back on his bike, we did a few 'Mikee' trails, that is stuff that looks promising but soon peters out into trackless wilderness and bog  Only bad point was the midges at Laggan, although I'm pretty well imune to the wee buggers it was rather difficult to change a brake block peering through a fog of them. Most especial thanks to ZZ for driving all the way home to Loanhead through several bouts of torrential rain, service above and beyond the call of duty :D

From all the happy owners, it looks like the designer got the geometry spot-on. I think the one possible drawback is it's one size fits all.

Jones Spaceframe uses a similar principle and seem to work out pretty well. Gil runs one and he's 6'4.

Sad I missed it, looked like a great day one, proper epic, I might be up there in September so if any of you have a routemap/stava let me have a look please.

Is Jamie measuring Epicyclo's erm... potential? :)
