Stumpjumper or Crumphumper?!

Brown or dark purple? I think the last of the steel stumpjumpers came in a dark purple. Late 90s? My dad had one and i remember it being super nice. But, not being able to see it up close it's hard to say. Worth a look for £50.

It's been repainted and has aftermarket decals on but the noodle around the seat tube and the seat tube collar look correct for a mid-nineties Specialized. However, the eyelets on the seat stays near the seat tube suggest that it's not a Stumpy. Perhaps a RockHopper . . . but it does look very Specialized. The last of the steel Stumpies was in 1998, by the way, and came in a mango colour. Shame about the crappy parts.
