For Sale Specialized FSR team frame 93

This is a rare 1993 team fsr frame.
It has the rare titanium removable seat collar.
Bushes etc all appear to be good.
Shock holds air but probably would benefit from a refurb.
Frame has marks and scratches but no dents.

£450 ono

Lovely frame…

Hope comments are of use: A 93 serial frame number is typically a 1994 model/catalogue bike. The 1993 catalogue s-work models were slightly different in rear triangle design with the rear shock upper mount below the top tube point and a lower swing arm pivot point near the cranks I think, but not sure how long that was sold to public for. @Once A Hero or @Repacker might remember better than me.

I might be wrong but the grey titanium seat collars turn up in 1995 on the M2s so I’m guessing this was a converted/fix maybe within its first couple of years. The seat post tube would have been couple inches taller originally, not so near the shock mount point.

I don't remember anything from that era - I only glean it from catalogues. I know Joe and Pete have/had similar frames so you will know more than me. @Joe*Pro @Once A Hero
However at first glance of the pics in the catalogues this looks more like the design from 95. So now I'm only muddying the waters. Handing it back to the experts....

Unfortunately this frame is with a new owner now.
I say unfortunately, because I regret selling it.... 3rd one I have had and sold before finishing building it.

Wouldn't mind another if one pops up!

Yep def looks like a 95 now, yet stamped 93 and with 94 decals.
