IMO retrobikers are split into two groups, people who have ridden a slingshot and people who want to ride one, I was the latter, now I'm the former

At the start of this build (in february ) I had the best intentions of building this completely period correct but a couple of items have sneaked in that aren't. The cranks I've had since new and following a refub I couldn't bear to see them just sitting in a box. The supercool marinovative brakes threw a bit of a spanner in the works when I put all the parts together as I found they required a V brake style lever but now they work great. Took it out for a shakedown ride at the weekend, it rides pretty much like a fast hardtail which gets more compliant the faster you go, and it likes to go fast . Hope the pictures do the bike justice as I'm really happy with the result.
