Simplex 'Fun Bike' derailleurs and shifters

New, never fitted but the jockey wheels and bolts have been replaced with used ones.

Teflon coated (non Stick) so the dirt doesn't stick, Includes cables and instructions.

Shifters are .... Different, they fit to the bar and are set back, unsure why. And they have odd clamps.

Still, and extremely rare set in its carry box.

They did another set with shifters similar to Mavic, iirc

They did, they were identical, to be fair the derailleurs that they made are very close to the main body of the Mavic as well

I almost bought one of those sets from eBay a few years ago. The seller had both sets for sale. I've always regretted it a bit

Yeah, they seemed expensive at the time.... Now, not so.

Disraeli says the Mavic 840 was loosely based on the Simplex Vallée model which (also according to Disraeli) this one is similar to.

I like it, seems like a bargain for something pretty rare and well presented.
