Show us your Giant

I do remember that Zorbers forks from the 1994 Giant Escaper model. In 1994 I bought a Cadex CFM-3. Suspension was the new thing. The lbs could offer me the Zorbers for 200 guilders less than a Quadra 10. I gave it a try. The forks was not meant for hard core riding. After a year the crown broke in half, resulting in a bad crash. From the performance I remember it felt very comfortable. The whole bike wasn't very fast. It was too big and the for that year new aluminium tail felt not very stiff.

1992 Giant Cadex CFM-1 frame. The '92 CFM-1 model originally came with the then new XTR m900 group.

Only the stem seems to not be original...I rarely see Cadex 16" in such condition. Great !
Yes, the Answer A-Tac stem are not original, like the Flite Saddle. It’s now swap by a steel stem titanium color and the original gold bar.

i don't own a giant myself but i remember being real envious of a kid in my year at secondary school who had a giant escaper (about 1989/1990 time). i remember thinking that bikes worth £400 odd pounds lol (i had a 1988 dawes ascent mtb at the time).
