Looks very much like a Kona 30.0mm post I have (clamp and boss arrangement) but mines aluminium.

Apologies, it's a Kona post (edited original post within seconds but obviously not quick enough!)

I'll get a pic just to show the clamp arrangement similarities. Obviously not made by Kona themselves but might provide a clue?

Don't know why I typed Marin - must be losing it!

Me too - looks custom made.... possibly with borrowed clamp parts?

Lots of subtle differences upon close inspection but one certainly inspired the other.

This all used to be bluey/silver like the clamp part but I stripped the shaft as a stand in until I found a silver Thomson in the same size.
