Out and about today, I met a chap who has what looks like a '95 Schwinn Cruiser Deluxe 100th Anniversary frame and possibly forks.
The frame has some patina - including a couple of holes in the chainstays where the kickstand was once. Potentially the original fork - but that might have the remains of a quill stem stuck in there. There's a front wheel that seems somewhat substantial too.

It could be a fun project - but the chainstay damage might be an issue.

Any (polite) thoughts welcomed :)

Paint is pretty ratty, the tubing is nothing fancy, knock the rust off get a local welder to stick a plate on it... Of course this would mean you would have to buy the frame cheap as chips.

My thoughts did immediately head in the "speak to Dan" direction :)
Initially I hadn't twigged it was quite so modern. I knew it wasn't a Chicago one because of the lack stay crimping - but thought it might be worth a bob or two.

Worthless junk!

So much of the original kit is missing, it just isnt worth it

One here that didnt sell for $125 in mint condition

Cheap repo which has chainstays needing replacing, I'd not be paying for the frames etc to be honest, as cool as it is
