nice to know about the rings, the cranks are altus i think, but they are quite pretty!

Crud, that's a 1993 Sahara Elite -- even at 17 years old, I still think that they're fine looking bikes, especially after the wash you've given it.

Kudos to LGF for saving it from the crusher.

I think the only original part left on Crud's bike is the seatclamp...

I've owned my '93 Sahara from new, and mine didn't come with a seat clamp. If the headset is a Tioga Avenger, then that's probably original.
