Saracen Kili granniegear!!

Re:

Lads..can I be honest..This seller always seems to get a "verbal kicking" on here, He buys and sells items on eVilbay. He sells his items at a price , some say inflated..Its really easy.."dont buy off him". He seems to have a good feed back score, so his online customers seem happy. Even one of "brethren" has purchased stuff of him and was happy with his purchase...

We/I all like a bargain when we can get one..

Ernie ;)

Fella is running a business is he not ? :? Or do we now harangue curry's for the price of their washing machines.
£15 to send, got a box ?. Hope the post office isn't far. What's packaging cost these days, or labour and cleaning products.
Final valuation fee ? Paypal too.
What's your time worth :?

One could enquire should you pick up something like a new Pace frame in a backyard clearance sale and you get it for 50 quid, what would you sell it at. Or anything that currently holds a high price.

Simplest thing is not to buy. If it doesnt sell it may reduce a bit, but he's a business and likely cannot hold a huge stock any length of time, but must at least clear his overheads.
But the bike was there for £60. He took the chance it wasnt a horror :?

The voice of reason.

Re:

I've had an email chat with GG and he seemed an alright bloke. Said the only winner is ebay/paypal and it takes up a lot of time.

I think his prices are abit daft sometimes (as in it will NEVER sell at that price) but frankly he must know what he's doing.

Whats the difference between Granniegear and the Pros Closet....?

Easy Returns / 24hr Shipping / Satisfaction Guaranteed...?

I heard he has 6 toes on each foot and still wears hipster flared corduroys, just saying :D

Re:

Wasn't he a member here once? Seemed right enough.

Everyone has bills to pay, and some people's circumstances are more precarious than others. I'd happily sell my stuff to the highest bidder if I didn't have a job that makes far more money from far less effort.

Saying that, I'm mystified by the idea of making a living from buying and selling old bikes to obsessive middle aged men. It must be one of those "professions" like poker player - the only people who actually make money are Ebay or the casino.
