Saracen Eiger

Hi guys,
First post. Be nice. I'm no bike expert.

I was about to skip my old mountain bike and buy a new hybrid. While browsing I became aware of Mavic wheels. I'd never heard of them but their price caught my eye as I recognised the name. Lo and behold I have set on my bike. Some hours later I arrived here. My bike is a Saracen Eiger and I have no idea of its history other than I got it in a bargain from the town of Stirling. It needs a good clean but I've just taken a quick snap. Any advice? More photos if required.

Welcome aboard mate and i'd say your Eiger is probably a 1990 model as for the rims their none original as far as i'm aware of they should be Araya rims not mavic so obviously they've been changed but Mavic are really good so nothing to cry about their then unfortunately theirs not much info to be had on these models and we only know that the blue version of these were sold specifically by Halfords so i don't know if yours was but it does seem possible ..

Well hopefully some one on here will come along with more info ..
